Project Objective:
To absorb and apply necessary techniques of Photoshop to create a postcard titled “Malaysia, Truly Asia”. Concentrating on Malaysian Forest as part of Malaysian heritage to promote awareness one should know to appreciate and help preserving it.
Approach:
Creating a postcard based on photos of past vacations by using Adobe Photoshop CS3. Adjusting an image will requires Exposure, Level and Color Balance technic. Most of the images are in jpg format. Will be using around 10-20 layers only. Filters such as Gaussian or Radial blur. Normal font will be used such as Times New Roman and Arial. No funky font style. Marquee will be widely used in this assignment.
Idea:
It’ll be a very Green side of persuasion. To enhance the mood, green goes well with white and light colors. Asian forest will be dark green sometimes bluish in the morning with fog covering it up. Want to emphasize the chilly surrounding with the river flows. To enhance the human impact, probably includes a tourist on their boat ride. Tagline will be the title it self.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1st Phase: Idea is sketched and images are searched via Google and Yahoo.
2nd Phase: Images are edited, placed inside the postcard. Text are placed too.
3rd Phase: Consult.
4th Phase: Final touches are made. Print the postcard.
5th Phase: Submission for Assignment 1.
Comment:
Practicing Photoshop as regular basis may results better understanding and enhance the results. Nevertheless it’ll improve users capability, increase productivity and shorten time consumption…
