Basic masking editing and compositing techniques using mask, filters and brush effects, applying blending on layer image as part of effect techniques.
Shown below the difference effects implemented on a book cover.
And to show some artwork how it does to give a bold impacts.
By selecting a suitable background and proper ideas. Adding a scanned US$20 notes just to get give an idea.
Multiply and rotates using free transform to the notes like trajectory motion. After that, use a Drop Shadow layer onto every note. Go to channel mode and turn off the visibility for Alpha 1, hold on a Ctrl key and make a selection on Alpha 1. After that go to Layers palette and create a brand new layer and simply hit Alt+Backspace to fill that with black pixels. Then deselect all. Move the brand new layer to the bottom but just above the Background layer. Then here is where ‘Root with Previous Layer’ came in handy. There’s a shortcut to do this just by holding an Alt key between the two layers that are going to use. Same goes to other layer, connect it just like shown below.
Below shows an extra effort by implementing color changing and effects.
Select an area as above, alter its Hue/Saturation to change the color by starting by reducing brightness to -50. Implement colorize to immediate change color thoroughly.
Putting a drop shadow layer to give a uniformed look.
Implementing Inner Glow to distinguish between background and words to enhance readability.
