Polaroid Graphics Final Output

Below shown how:

  • apply the techniques of Layer Style effects
  • the use of advanced Blending Effect Techniques
  • techniques of applying the text tools with effects
  • compositing the image with the text effects

Layer Styles can be used to create a liquid effect. Choose Gradient Overlay to begin.

Layer Style > Gradient

Choose colors in the Gradient Editor & adjust the gradient angle.

Adding Style to Pallete

Select Inner Shadow, Drop Shadow & Outer Glow, use Global Light & adjust settings.

Texturing Layer

Adjust smoothing, altitude & opacity, add Contour & set its range.

Applying Texture onto Background

Drag layer into Styles Palette & name it. Click style & apply it to another selected layer.

Brush over Background

Duplicate, blur & adjust levels of Green Channel, define as pattern & use it as a texture.

Adjusting the Fill Element

New shape layer, fill with layer style, add mask, fill with black, paint on layer mask.

Layer Blending is Set to Mix Light

Set layer Blending Options to blend interior effects as a group & reduce fill opacity.

Adding an extra Layer for framing

Create new Layer and Texture it just like Polaroid paper. Highlight Blending Options.

Brightness and Contrast...

Giving an old, grainy and blurred effects onto the Graphics.

Result

Tadaa, the final output. Perhaps not appealing to some, but its the old and grainy effect that matters.
